About Us
Rosarian voice community is a divine charity organization approved by the Governor of Oyo State (copy available) and registered in Nigeria for proper monitoring, caring, socialization, education, and maintenance of abandoned/less privileged Children in Nigeria. It is a child welfare movement, and it is designed for shaping their destines and improving their living conditions (by creating a conducive settlement for them).
Apart from the Government social welfare workers, this home is the only charity organization in the State permitted and commissioned by the State Government to pick up abandoned child within and outside the state. Other homes are only allowed to operate motherless, orphanage and destitute children.
What we do is that as soon as a child is abandoned, and is reported to media house, the reporter in charge of the case will send for us to come and collect the baby from their station. At times these babies come through general public and police. Some of them were abandoned very late in the night. Some might have encountered dangerous things like snake bites, some pigs ate off their hands and legs. For others, they are attacked by witches and wizards. Before the child is rescued, he/she is almost gone. I keep sleepless nights, and sleep in the hospital ground for days and weeks till the child is recovered. Also, we pay for every drugs recommended by the doctor. Infact, it involves a lot of money to revive a child abandoned through such ways.
Since the inception of this project in 1996, God has used me to resuce many abandoned children in this sate. In addition, since I started His work, I never register any casualty in the home. Even when I picked up a child about giving up, God revived him/her in my hands “Miracle”, and I give God all the glory.
My Calling
My Journey with God started right from my mother's womb. God Almighty has appeared to me in many forms. This time around, He appeared and showed me a mighty building, the building was from earth to heaven and God was the wall of the building. In this building all the creatures of the universe was inside, include my own family. God spoke to me and said "gather your children from this building, for I want to destroy it". He asked me to pick babies under one year and I should not let anyone know about it. He took me to the middle floor and showed me where HIS children were using their body to make money. He vowed to destroy each and every one of them. The curtain opened and I saw young men and women playing naked and the curtain closed. So I started picking the children from earth to heaven. I was able to remove all the children inside the building. I woke up, and found out that it was a dream.
Vision
We did not stop here, I have passion for very sick prisoners, we go to Agodi prison yard on Sundays to give lunch to the very sick ones and they are more than 60 in number. But due to lack of funds, that aspect of the project has been suspended, and it grieves my heart. I wish some day some one will come to my aid and sponsor it again.
Waht We Do
1. Caring for the abandoned / motherless babies
In respect of abandoned ones, we have a lot of job at hand; we have some adopters who would love to have them as their own children. We recommend them to the social welfare who would screen them and prepare adoption for them. If a child is adopted through our home, we monitor him/her. That means as soon as a child is adopted through our home, we and the adopted parent become family for life. Our home has no power of adoption but we can foster out a child to an interested parent whom we believe will take proper care of the child till eternity. The risk of fostering out a child is that as soon as such child develops a serious illness, the foster parents returns him back to the home, thereby causing problem for the home. This is one of the reasons why we don’t want to foster out our children to any body; we prefer to recommend then for direct adoption.
The State government does not allow these children to be kept in the home; they want them to be integrated into a home where they will belong. Due to my calling and the plan of God concerning the abandoned child in Nigeria, we decided to retain a child every three years. In the life of this project and by the special grace of God, we will make them Twelve Apostles and Twelve Disciples who would later man the project of abandoned children when we are old and gone. Though it is my desire to have a convent for abandoned children alone in the later day, if pope will allow it. Not all will live sacred life; some would like to marry after their education. We would be glad to prepare them for marriage.
“Having gone through the poor conditions of abandoned children in Nigeria”, I came to realize that the solution for child abandonment/child abuse is not just to pick them up and dash them out as slaves to couples who in pretense show initial love and concern, who knows what will happened to them with their adopted parents after a few years, especially when they are at adolescent age. At the adolescent age, these children are very difficult to manage, it is only the grace of God for us to handle them.
For this reason, the “Rosarians” have decided to give their lives and insured that a conducive settlement is established for them and monitor their development and well being after they have been adopted. I am not moved by what I meet along this journey, all I know is that God is faithful. Whatever He has written can never be canceled, He will surely fulfill it. He will surely fulfill His promise in my life. The Rosarians also believes that a neglected abandoned child is a nuisance to the society; while a well cared abandoned child is a glory. Example. Moses Ex. 2:3, Joseph. Gen 37:24, Jephthah; Judges 11: 2 etc. These men were abandoned and cared for, and were later used by God in the day of distress in Israel. Destitution is never God’s intention for humanity; rather it is part of the devil's seed to discredit children for mankind. I quite believe that if this project should be manned by abandoned children themselves, they will make the best out of it and to it more effectively.
2. Rescuing of girl child pregnant mothers
We support young girls in distress. Some female students got pregnant while in school and their parent drove them away, they usually come to us for assistance. We support them till the child is delivered, the reason for this is because we don’t want them to deliver the child and throw them away. We act as an advocate between them and their parents. God has been helping us to do a good job toward this aspect too. Glory be to God. I have the calling but no funds to execute them. However, with your support we will lift up souls for Christ and humanity.
3. Rescuing babies delivered by women with insanity
We rescue babies born by mentally unstable women. Whenever I come across these children, I feel pity for them as their mothers carry them under the rain and sun. Passers-by also see them, pity them and give them alms/ presents. They don't care about their welfare, all they know is that they have done charity. These children are so attached to their mothers that they wouldn't want to leave them. However, by the time they are 8 years and above, they detach from their mothers, run into the market and become hoodlums. My assignment to this category of children is to ensure they are rescued, and are given proper care/education, which will make them self reliant and better Nigerians. Along the line some of them fall ill, and we take them to the hospitals, and foot the bills. It is not easy to retrieve these children from them, it is God himself that does the job for us. If these children are cared for, we Nigerians will have peace at our workplace, home and lives. So, I have decided in my own little way, believing that with your contributions/support, we can make a name for Christ and humanity.
4. Children of single parents
5. Care for the widows
6. Feeding the very hungry and clothing them
We prepare lunch twice monthly for the poor and clothe them too,
7. Christmas celebrations with the less privileged
I made a covenant with God that 10% of what is deposited in the home (from January to December) is shared out to the less privileged family at Christmas. The purpose of this is to ensure that food is served on the children's table at Christmas. We distribute cash and other necessities which makes them more happier.
Your contribution will go a long way to supporting the less privileged in our society. So we urge you to support this noble and divine assignment. In giving to the poor, you are lending to God.
